Set up a trail cam to catch the person or persons doing it! Just sayin’.

Update: Due to the amount of “House” garbage that we are receiving we will be temporarily removing trash cans from certain areas. The Wildlife cannot resist the temptation to attack our cans daily. We kindly ask that you pack out your garbage for the meantime. ...

I think this will increase litter 🙁 not sure what the solution is. Maybe empty garbage bins each evening at dusk????

Use refillable water bottles or hydration packs. Carry a pack to put you're waste in and take it home with you. It's what I always do on my long runs or bikes.

How sad!

Pack it in. Pack it out.

Awful!!!

Absolutely absurd that people do this! How do they not have a dump sticker that comes with property taxes every year or live in town with trash pick up? If you can drive around to ditch your trash then drive it to a friggin dumpster at least! Damn. It's sad that every single place basically needs surveillance for this kind of shit!

Just s few ruin it for all. Sad

Thats all fast food bs.

With the holiday weekend coming up, remember to practice social distancing while you're enjoying Hartwick Pines! Even our CCC boy is wearing a mask so you can get up close and read about all the work the CCC did at Hartwick Pines 😄

Thanks to this fun-loving family for making sure our CCC boy has a mask to wear!

So bummed to miss out on our first trip to Hartwick Pines SP. We were planning on Memorial Day weekend since it's a bit of a haul. I can't wait to plan another trip because these pictures are glorious!

Love it there. Is the parking lot open to the visitors center? Or even the day use area?

Saturday was the perfect day to walk the trails!! It is my favorite place to go.

Here's my favorite Hartwick Pines Photo.

Can we go there and hike the trails yet?

I can’t wait until we can come and camp. Normal year, we would have already been there once.

This crew enjoyed some great spring skiing on the #xcskibq trails yesterday! Take a break from the news and the noise and head to the woods for a refreshing dose of normalcy. Rock skis recommended, and we have some to borrow if you need. Open every day until March 31st. ...
