Couldn’t make it today (but your deck and food is always the bomb on sunny days!). Crust skiing was fabulous here in Traverse City, this morning. Get out and ski nordic fans, it’s incredible.
What a great bunch of people! You all do such a wonderful job of making our area a premier X-Country Ski destination.
You don't look so "bottomless" in this photo Lj Kanaby! Looks to be a fabulous spring day of skiing! Who doesn't love some corn kernel snow to ski In! Be careful in that thick stuff...tore my ACL in that kind of snow!

6.5 inches of snow, baby!! Too wet to groom today, but we will groom tomorrow morning. Shop will be open from 10am to 5pm Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. What to do when there’s snow in April? Go #xcskiing of course! ❄️🤪 ... See MoreSee Less
See you tomorrow 😊⛷

Pic from the trail cam this morning! We received about 5 inches of dense, heavy snow last night. Because the bottom layer of snow and the ground are still quite wet, we will not try grooming today because we would most likely turn it into slush. However, it is supposed to get plenty cold today and tonight, so we will attempt to groom tomorrow morning. If tomorrow’s grooming efforts yield good results, the store and rental/demo desk will be open tomorrow, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 5pm. We will send another ski report tomorrow morning with an update!
In the meantime, the trails are open today for classic skiing on un-groomed snow. The store is open by appointment today – just call 800-832-2663 and we will meet you there! ... See MoreSee Less
